Our u10s girls headed out to Matlock last Sunday for the first tournament of the summer and they did not disappoint with performance. Securing 2nd place in the group games with 5 clean sheets they unfortunately fell to sudden death penalties in the semi final after a 0-0 draw with chesterfield.

A huge congratulations to john ruddy for excelling in his coaching throughout the season and taking home the coach of the year (female pathway) award at this seasons grassroots football awards 2025.
A tale of two halves
Another rendition of Papplewick Village Fayre came and went with success. A total of £277.41 was raised through the hard work of our coaches, players and parents. The first half of the day went smoothly with good weather holding. The second half however was a washout leaving the event near empty.

Our u12s have won their first ever tournament at the Heanor juniors F.C. a fantastic display by all and a huge congratulations to the team and their Manager alex
Every little helps
As of July 1st we have been picked by Tesco to have a token box in store. With the chance to raise £1500 for the club to help give our young players the best start at the club whether purchasing kits or equipment. If your in store don't forget to fill it with as many blue tokens as you can.

Chairman hands over reigns
After many years at the helm of the club chairman Andrew Ainsworth has passed the reigns on to Jayson Stirland.
Jayson who has been club secretary for many years as well as safeguarding and welfare officer for the boys gladly took up the post and immediately forwarded a vote to make andy honorary chairman.
The club wishes andy all the best for the future.
